Delete your VigorLens account or data
Device data and optional account data have separate deletion controls. Export anything you want to keep first, and use disposable sample information if you are testing these actions.
Delete data from this device
Open the header settings icon → Privacy & data → Erase this device journal, type ERASE, and choose Erase device journal. This removes the local record, local encryption key, scheduled reminders, and temporary export files from that device. It does not remove an optional account or encrypted cloud recovery.
Delete your account and cloud recovery
While signed in, open the encrypted recovery or account controls and choose Delete cloud account, then confirm. This removes the current encrypted recovery record, account identity, and account-scoped service data. A minimal deletion marker remains to stop a late request or restored data from recreating the account. Previously exported files, independent provider records, and protected historical encrypted backups are outside the immediate deletion boundary; those backups may persist for up to 35 days.
Completing this action in VigorLens also clears this device’s journal, sign-in, and recovery keys. Export anything you want to keep first. Complete any prompted device cleanup if the process is interrupted.
Account deletion does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription. Manage store billing in the account that purchased it.
Request help without the app
Email support@focalward.com from the address associated with your VigorLens account, with the subject “VigorLens account deletion.” We may ask you to verify ownership. Never send your password, recovery passphrase, or personal record by email.
Request deletion by email →Copies outside the app
Erase exported files and shared copies where you saved or sent them. Deleting device data does not erase the cloud copy. In-app cloud account deletion also clears the journal on the device where you complete it; other devices and previously exported copies require their own cleanup. Operational security and support records and Apple, Google, RevenueCat, Amazon, or other provider records follow their own requirements.
