App guide and tutorials

Get to know VigorLens.

VigorLens is a local-first wellness journal for adults using prescribed GLP-1 medication. Record meals, fluids, movement, comfort, and observations so you can review your routine and prepare for care visits.

VigorLens is coming soon. It does not diagnose, direct medication use, or determine whether muscle has been preserved. Guided programs await qualified review.

Start with your own record.

Open Today to see your current notes and routine prompts.

Tap Log something to record a Meal, Fluid, Movement, or Comfort entry.

Use the bottom navigation to move between Today, Journal, Strength, and Progress; open the settings icon in the header for Preferences and subscription.

Your saved journal is available on the device without an account; account sign-in is for protected cloud recovery and photo AI.

Open Settings to choose Personal goals, Units, schedule & reminders, plans, privacy, and data controls.

Where to find each feature.

Today

A daily view with protein and fluids, Today’s notes, a seven-day recording strip, and Next in your routine prompts.

Journal

A date-based journal combining meals, fluids, and comfort, with Meals, Fluids, and Comfort filters.

Strength

Record movement, review the week, repeat a recent movement, and edit prior movement records.

Progress

Review observations over 7 days, 30 days, or 90 days, including known protein, fluids, movement, comfort, and recording coverage.

Manual logging

Enter meals, portion eaten, protein, fiber, fluids, movement sets/reps/load, comfort observations, and optional measurements.

Photo assistance

Choose or take a meal photo, provide optional context, send it only after sign-in and per-photo consent, then review foods and portions before using an estimate.

Portions, units & history

Record the percentage eaten, leave unknown amounts blank, use metric or US units, and reopen or edit saved entries.

Visit summaries & export

Prepare a visit summary by selecting a date range and observations, review it, save it, and export selected information.

Local encrypted backup

Create or restore a passphrase-encrypted backup file. Keep the file and its passphrase somewhere private; support cannot recover a lost passphrase.

Cloud recovery

With an account, inspect, upload, and download an encrypted recovery record using a sync passphrase; uploads require current Plus access when store billing is active.

Plans & subscription

Review saved-journal access and store plans. Eligible store enrollment offers a seven-day trial that renews unless canceled; purchase and restore do not require a VigorLens login.

Practical walkthroughs.

Screenshots show development app screens with sample data. Mobile-layout browser captures illustrate the screens; native permissions, recording, and store checkout may look different.

Record a meal

Add a meal and keep uncertain amounts visible as unknown.

VigorLens meal editor with date, meal name, protein, fiber, and portion fields.
The current meal editor in temporary sample mode. Leave unknown nutrients blank and review Portion eaten before saving.
  1. Open Today and tap Log something, then choose Meal.
  2. Enter the meal name, Portion eaten (%), and any known Protein (g) or Fiber (g).
  3. Leave an amount blank when you do not know it; do not turn a guess into a precise number.
  4. Choose the date and save the entry.
  5. Open Journal > Meals to review the saved estimate and edit it later.

Add fluids and comfort

Keep hydration and meal comfort observations together for the same day.

  1. Open Today and tap Fluid, or open Journal and choose Fluids.
  2. Enter Fluid amount in your selected unit and save.
  3. Return to Today and tap Comfort, or open Journal > Comfort.
  4. Choose the observation that matches how meals felt and save it.
  5. Use Progress to review recorded days; the app does not infer a cause.

Record movement

Record a routine you already follow without prescribing a program.

VigorLens Strength screen with a recorded week, Record movement, and recent movements.
Strength shows recorded movement days and your previous movements. Review each value before using Repeat today.
  1. Open Strength and tap Record movement.
  2. Enter the exercise name, Sets, Reps per set, Added load (0 for none), unit, and date.
  3. Save the movement and review it under This week’s records.
  4. Use Repeat today beside a recent movement only after reviewing each value.
  5. Edit movement when a saved value needs correction.

Use meal photo assistance

Photo assistance creates a draft that you must review; it never saves automatically.

  1. Open Journal > Meals and tap Use a meal photo.
  2. Tap Choose meal photo or Take a photo, then inspect the selected image.
  3. Sign in if prompted and read the transfer notice.
  4. Turn on consent for Send this photo and note to OpenAI for a food draft, then start analysis.
  5. Review foods, preparation, full-portion amounts, and hidden ingredients; use Keep this food unknown when needed.
  6. Tap Use this estimate in meal fields, confirm the meal name and Portion eaten (%), then save the meal.

Prepare a visit summary

Select observations for review and export only after checking the result.

VigorLens Progress screen with known protein, recorded fluids, and coverage.
Progress shows known amounts and recording coverage. Scroll to Prepare a visit summary to select what to share.
  1. Open Progress and choose 7 days, 30 days, or 90 days.
  2. Review Known protein, Recorded fluids, Movement days, Meal comfort, and View recording coverage.
  3. Tap Prepare a visit summary.
  4. Set Start date (YYYY-MM-DD), End date (YYYY-MM-DD), Questions for my care team, and the Include meals, Include fluids, Include strength, Include tolerance, or Include measurements choices.
  5. Select I reviewed this summary and the selected information.
  6. Tap Save reviewed summary, Share PDF, or Share text on a native device; the browser uses Download printable summary or Download text.

Back up or recover the local journal

Use an encrypted file backup when changing devices and keep its passphrase safe.

  1. Open the header settings icon, then open Backup and recovery.
  2. Tap Create encrypted backup, enter Backup passphrase and Confirm passphrase, then tap Create and save encrypted backup.
  3. Save the exported encrypted backup file and its passphrase somewhere you control; losing the device key without a backup can make records unrecoverable.
  4. On the receiving device, tap Restore encrypted backup, enter Backup passphrase, and tap Choose backup file to select the exported file.
  5. Review the meal, exercise, and measurement counts, then tap Replace journal with this backup.
  6. Store restore is separate from record recovery: use Plans & subscription for Apple or Google purchase restore.

Use optional cloud recovery

Cloud recovery is account-protected and keeps the journal encrypted before upload.

  1. Open the header settings icon → Account & cloud recovery and tap Sign in or create account.
  2. Set a Sync passphrase of at least 12 characters; support cannot recover a lost passphrase.
  3. Tap Inspect cloud recovery to review the existing cloud revision.
  4. Tap Upload reviewed journal, confirm the replacement or first upload, and review the result.
  5. On another device, tap Download and review, inspect the decrypted preview, then confirm Replace local journal.

Review privacy and delete data

Use the in-app controls to understand storage and remove local or cloud records.

  1. Open the header settings icon, then open Privacy & data and read Privacy policy.
  2. Review On this device to see where the saved journal is kept; cloud recovery is optional.
  3. To remove local records, tap Erase this device journal, enter ERASE in Type ERASE to confirm, then tap Erase device journal.
  4. For an account, open Account & cloud recovery and choose Delete cloud account.
  5. Completing Delete cloud account also clears this device’s journal, sign-in, and recovery keys. Export anything you want to keep first; complete any prompted device cleanup if interrupted.
  6. Apple or Google billing must be canceled separately, and files already exported or shared remain outside the app's deletion boundary.

Plans and access.

Saved records remain available for reading, review, export, recovery, and deletion without a subscription.

New manual meals, fluids, movement, comfort, and measurement logging requires eligible local store access, such as an active seven-day store-managed trial or Plus subscription.

The trial is store-managed for eligible customers, lasts seven days, and renews into the selected plan unless canceled; Apple or Google determines eligibility.

No new account trial is created by signing in. Store purchase and restore are available without a VigorLens product login.

Photo AI and protected cloud recovery require a signed-in account; photo AI also requires per-photo transfer consent and current Plus access when store billing is active.

If photo assistance is paused, unavailable, or not configured, review foods manually and record the meal without sending a photo.

VigorLens is coming soon. Store purchases and provider-dependent features may be unavailable in a test build.

Compare plan capabilities

Privacy, data, and help.

The saved journal is designed to stay on the device and works without an account.

Cloud recovery is optional. When used, the journal is encrypted on the device before upload and requires the same sync passphrase to recover it.

A selected meal photo and optional note leave the device only after sign-in and explicit per-photo consent; the resulting draft must be reviewed before recording.

Photo assistance may be paused or unavailable, and the app should say so rather than implying a successful analysis.

Local encrypted backup and cloud recovery are different controls; losing the device key or a backup passphrase can make records unrecoverable.

Privacy policy is available from the header settings icon → Privacy & data. Medication dosing and diagnosis are outside the app.

Erase this device journal removes the local journal after confirmation. Completing Delete cloud account also clears this device’s journal, sign-in, and recovery keys. Export anything you want to keep first; complete any prompted device cleanup if interrupted. Cancel Apple or Google billing separately. Previously exported files and other devices require their own cleanup.

Please keep private records, passwords, and recovery phrases out of support messages. Use the privacy, deletion, and support links below for this product.
